On February 26 2004 the IPAA changed its name to the International Capital Market Services Association - ICMSA.
"Although the work of the IPAA already covered the increasing number of roles in the administration of Capital Market Issues, we believe that this has not been fully recognised by the Market as a whole.
We also believe that it is necessary to create a Trade Association that reflects the evolving capital markets and provides a formal platform for all service organisations. We believe that ICMSA can serve these needs." Chairman, Ray Morison.
